The rear quarter window on my 1953 bel air convertible sits higher than the door window. I already adjusted the door window as high as I can. Is there a way to adjust the rear quarter window lower? I tried reading the manual, but I'm not understanding the instructions

It looks like you should be able to loosen the three bolts circled in yellow, and the window should adjust. Have you tried that?

I did loosen those bolts, nothing moved. Maybe I didn't loosen them enough, or maybe it's just stuck. I'll try again in a couple days. Temps are over 100 each day this week, thank you,
It's been many years since I worked as a body man and I have no experience with adjusting a '53 Chevy but, as a general rule, connections that are for making adjustments will have a slotted hole behind them to allow for the necessary movement. If you loosen a fastener and there's just a round hole it's likely not an adjustment point.

I went out in the heat today. I loosened the bolts a little more. I was able to get the window to go down a little. I wish it could go about 1/8 inch lower, but i do like it more now than before.
