As some may already know, I have 5-1/2 inch of steering wheel play.

before I condemn my steering box, I plan to rebuild the 4 five inch long Tie Rod Ends, which includes the ball seats, spacer, spring and plug.  And if needed, as I pulled the linkage apart, if a Rod Ball End is worn, that Rod will also need replacement.

Does anyone know where I can find these parts?  The FS does not carry any of these parts.

Thanks,

Gary (Junky)

Never mind!  The Filling Station "does" carry the front end parts I need.  The problem I created in my search on the FS website, was I entered my 1929 and Truck in the vehicle "bars Year and Model", then I entered the part description in the search bar.

Why I did not get any return of these parts on FS, is that the FS  "Description Title" for these parts are listed for 1927-1952 or 1927-33 and would not match my listing of 1929.

I now know not to list the year of my truck when searching for parts.

Thanks though!

@junky FB is not a part of the VCCA to my knowledge. I can't figure out why people seem to use FB instead of coming to this forum

@john-schildberg Howdy John,  I was trying to reference the parts supply outfit known as The Filling Station, so I used FS.  I realized afterwards, most members use TFS for this reference .

Then the next day or so, while I was searching Google for the parts I need, TFS was listed in my search results.  That's when I discovered I was using the TFS search bars incorrectly.

Then I went back to this, my, original posting to see if I could delete it entirely before there were any responses .

Thanks for reviewing though.  Sorry about all this.
