@captain1562-2 Daniel, I have seen Chevy Parts Department photos on eBay that were from the 1930s. I don't see any on there now. The Filling Station has old photos that are Chevy related. Check their catalog.

@35mike thanks! I have seen most of those already. I am trying to get a close up on some accessory displays. I'd attach photos but i still dont have permission to do so.
@captain1562-2 In the interest of getting you some more posts, and because we are all nosey as hell, tell us about your '38 Chevy.

@35mike Morning Sir, my 38 Chevy Tourer is a holden body from Australia and is frequently driven. It has the 3.73 gears in the rear end so i am able to drive it with no problems on the freeway. It has most of the accessories offered in 38. Skirts, fulldish hubcaps, banjo, horn ring, fogs, gm fan, and some other gm accessories. Once i am able to attach photos, ill attach some.
At the Bowling Green show was a nice display of 1931 accessories in one of the halls. I have a accessory book for 1938 Fisher passenger cars. Some are used on Holdens. I can not post pictures on the new forum but if you got to my web page, you can see Fisher passenger accessories. <home.znet.com/c1937/acc.htm>. Full dish hubcaps were a 1937 only accessory. Eight spoke chrome trim was 1938 only.
Good luck, Lou
Here are a couple in my archive. These are related to my 38. The pictures show the dealership where it was sold and the parts department within that dealership. The outside picture was taken at the end of October in 1940 as part of a local Halloween celebration.

@tiny Tiny, Your inside photo is a Ford parts department. Flathead head V8 gaskets are hanging behind the guy and Ford oval on cans on the top, to the right. That parts man would look much happier if he was working at a Chevy dealership.

@35mike Thanks for that. I got the photo from a local historian who gave me that information. He's passed on now so I can't let him know his mistake. The Ford dealer in town was in that same building before Tubbs traded locations with him so it's likely the Chevy parts department looked basically the same.
