Yesterday, I took Justin to his last show for this season.
The weather was fantastic (72 degrees F), the vehicles were diverse, the crowds were appreciative and cheerful! The Novato High School Admin. folks gave me permission to park my pickup and trailer on their campus, which is only a 7 driving minutes drive from the show entrance.
At least two dozen kids sat in the truck while their parents took photos. Some adults enjoyed sitting in Justin too. I, of course, loved telling Justin's story and pointing out some of the automotive engineering from way back when.
One precious encounter was when a lady brought her 98 year old Mother to see the truck. We all laughed at the idea that Mom was one year old when Justin rolled off the assembly line! I started him up and honked the Klaxon horn a couple of times for her and she was grinning from ear to ear!!!
Great stuff. 😉
The first pic is Justin on the trailer, waiting to go to the show. The rest of the pics are at the show.
See if you can find the 1964 F*** in showroom condition. ;-).
Ever onward, Dean

If that '64 is in "showroom" condition, I'm glad I wasn't in the showroom at the time. What's the backstory?
