Welcome to the VCCA's website! Most of this site is about preservation and restoration, but there is a place for personalization too!
There are a couple of articles about engine swaps on the Stovebolt page that you might want to read. Here's a link to their engine technical tips: https://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/#engine

@g-mendyka-2 Glen?? If your truck has a 216 engine installed in it now, it can no longer have the original 1935 bell housing. Whatever housing and other parts are on the 216 should fit the 235. The truck 4-speed had the same bolt pattern from about 1932 through 1946. In 1947 they changed to the trans without the reverse lock-out lever. The pattern might stay the same, but I am not sure. Good to hear from you. It's been a while.

@35mike You are correct Mike I did have the bell housing changed when I put the 216 from a 41 in it.it’s been a few years that I’ve been on the site I had to start a new account, I’m not used to the newer format, when I look up anything here I always check to see if you chime in Because of your knowledge. I still have that 35 I had to put off working on it for about 7 years because I moved and had to get another garage built,Thanks
@g-mendyka-2 Glen, I think flywheel, and clutch parts from the 216 will all work on the 235. Remember it is important for the flywheel and starter to be from the same source.
