I haven't given up and will start my search again when it cools off. I'm still looking for the AOS Frame Number on my 33 Master Coupe. I know where it is on a 32 and a 34 Master. They are on opposite sides. I don't know on a 33 Master. There is a thin coat of paint over it and I need to be careful taking it off not to destroy the AOS Number. Does anyone have an original 33 with that number?
Someone looked on the internet and said it was on the Drivers side but I don't know if that's true.
I'm told it depended on the plant it was built in. Did AOSmith have more than one plant they built frames in?
@jon-tagge Jon, this might be a question for a Technical Advisor. I see you're along time club member. There's a list of them with contact information in every G&D.

Looks like AOSmith had only one plant built in 1920, went into production in 1921.
@jon-tagge According to the company history, they were making car frames as early as 1899. No mention of how many plants.
There is a Jam Handy movie on YouTube showing 1936 frames being assembled. The inference is that it is a Chevy plant but perhaps not.

My curiosity had me check the parts manual to see if 33 frames had numbers similar to anything else. I was surprised to find my 42 parts manual does not even list 33 frames. Earlier yes, and 34 and later yes, but nothing for 33.
AOSmith built a plant in Milwaukee in 1920 and into production in 1921 until 1968. Produced 10,000 frames per day. Was the only pant they had.
Still lookin'. It does not appear to be on the passenger side which was my best guess. Next week I'll inspect the Drivers side.
