I am trying to purchase new radiator for a stock 1939 Chev. Master 85. I have been advised 1939 is a one year only. US Radiator shows part # 010001 as a replacement. Does anyone have knowledge if this would be the correct radiator.
Thanks for any help. Tom 541.416.0995 toms63fury@gmail.com
If you think the upper and lower tanks are still viable, another approach is to take your radiator to a well-established, old school radiator shop. Have them replace the radiator core and reuse your tanks.
This is what I did in 2022 for my 1927 Chevy one ton truck. I was very happy with the results and the cost was just under $800.

Hi Tom
Don't know how much you want to spend (radiators aren't cheap 🙂), or it it's still there, but there is this:

Hey Tom apologies for being a little late to the party, but I replaced my 1939 Master 85 radiator last year. Picked one up from Champion Radiator and it was a perfect fit. Here is link to it: https://shop.championcooling.com/1939-Chevrolet-Master-85-SKU-39-6?search=CC39-6
Good luck,
Daric
