Top replace on a 1915 H4

Doing some down the road planning on my H4. The top needs replacement. No one in my area really wants to work on a 110 year old vehicle and I prefer doing things myself anyway. I have roof bows on the way from Wilmer Wood. I have a source for a Con Sew industrial machine. So the questions -

Is Stayfast a suitable replacement material or is there still a source for original top material. Does anyone have experience doing this themselves? I do know of one person who has opted for making his own partly because he was unhappy with the quality of the outsourced product.

Thanks for looking

Paul

There are at least two threads on top replacement on the AACA site. I found the shorter one but search around in pre war Buick section and you should be able to find the longer one. It is very detailed.

Thanks Dave. Excellent instructions! Lesson learned here. Don't limit searches to just your make on topics like this.
