Morning folks,
I'm getting tired of wrapping parts in tarps in the bed of my truck when I hit the swap meets or drive a few states over to pick up finds for my Chevy project.
I don't have the driveway space (or the need) for a massive 16-foot car hauler right now, since I'm mostly just hunting for NOS trim, fenders, interior pieces, and maybe the occasional engine block.
I was thinking about picking up a tiny 4x6 enclosed cargo trailer just to use as a weatherproof "rolling trunk." I'm looking at a basic model like this one: <a href=" removed link " target="_blank" rel="noopener">4x6 simply because it's small enough to tuck into the corner of the garage next to the project car.
My main question for the group: Do any of you use a trailer this small for your parts runs? My only worry is that it might bounce around like crazy on the highway when it's completely empty on the way to the meet.
Would love to hear if anyone has a similar setup for parts hunting. Thanks!
