I received my 1st Junior award badge for my car at Rapid City. My question is where does it get mounted. I bought the bracket to mount it, but I don't know if it goes on top of the license plate or below. I also can't figure out how you screw the bracket on if I screw the oval on first

Pick the tag bolt where you prefer the oval to be mounted, mount the bracket, then add the oval.
The VCCA Judging Manual does not specify a particular location. Per the manual, "It is the owner's responsibility to display a registered Junior Oval, Senior Oval and/or Preservation Tab award on the vehicle if it is to be judged for a Senior or Preservation Award."

I've seen a number of them mounted to the grill. I mounted mine to the front license plate.

Did mine on license plate also.
I did it, but it took about 45 minutes. This old guy with Parkinson's shouldn't even attempt to do it, about I was determined to do it by myself. Those nuts and nuts are so tiny! Thank all of you for the help!
