Some time ago, I sent a steering wheel to Lou. I emailed the amount including postage and told him to wait until he received it to send me the money. a few days later I got a check from him. A few more days went by and I got a a message from Lou, asking for the tracking number for the package. I think that was on a Monday. I looked up the number and sent it, then checked it myself and found that, per USPS, the package had been delivered the previous Friday. I sent that message to Lou and started calling to follow up. I have not heard a word from him since. I have called multiple times and after a few rings, I get a message that he has no voice mail set up.
I had some surgery on February 23 so I have lost track of exactly when all this took place, but it has been a while.

It's been my experience that Lou responds well (and only) to emails. This has been true for the last 20+ years.

@lou-macmillan @rustoholic Lou and Dean, Problem solved!! The phone number I had for dean was one I had saved from a previous call. The problem..., he was using someone else's phone when he made that call to me.
Lou called me last night from the same phone and we eventually sorted out the issue. to summarize: RUMORS OF LOU'S DEMISE HAVE BEEN GREATLY EXAGGERATED.
I have been talking "Old Chevy Trucks", off and on, with Lou, for 40 years or more.
Steering wheel report: He got it, he likes it.

Hi Mike, None of the emails you didn't receive have been returned. The first two were replies so I doubt your address was incorrect. I'll try sending you a test email tonight. Please email me tomorrow if you don't receive it. Let's see if we can figure this out rather than using the VCCA forum.
