What is the proper way to ground the car. Currently positive cable running to the starter and negative cable running to the transmission both are 0/2. When I replaced the old cables I noted an old disintegrated braided strap. I've been doing some research and saw that since this is a positive ground car that I should maybe run a braided cable from the engine block to the frame, does that sound right? Just looking for advice and options.

I did a search with +1031 +strap +ground as the search criteria.

@rustoholic Thanks, I keep forgetting to check the old site, I keep thinking the search would be more global.
One thing that I'm questing it that since the car is positive ground, should the negative be going to the starter? I've left it the way I got it with the positive connecting directly to the starter and the reply that you sent the link for is the same setup. But some of the videos I've been watch have the connections reversed.
I'm not going to change up anything until I know for sure but I'm wondering if that is some of my problem, with starting and then recently the ignition coil going out.
