I recently had the carb rebuilt for my 235 and the shop set the idle mixture screw at 1 1/2 turns out.   After setting the idle speed and with the vacuum gauge I turned in the mixture screw until the vacuum dropped.  I then turned it back out to maximum vacuum, but at that setting when I aggressively pushed the throttle, the engine hesitated removed link   So I turned out the mixture screw in 1/8 turns until the hesitation went away (probably another 3/4 turn?).  It was still at maximum vacuum.   

Am I good with this or is this too rich?  The engine seems to be running and driving good but I don't know the downside of too rich of idle?
