Lou, Rustoleum makes a brown hammered finish spray paint.  If you put it on heavy, it will wrinkle.  Experiment on something unimportant before you use it on your dash.  Hope this helps.  Have a Happy New Year!!

    Art Deco trucks (except military) had Hammer tone Rose dash.    40 years ago I found some "French Gray" wrinkle paint in spray cans.   I sprayed it on the dash of my 1940 REA truck then waited 15 minutes and sprayed on another heavy coat.  I put it under heat lamps and it wrinkled.  I have not been able to find any wrinkle paint since.   Thank you for the reply.

Interestingly, my brother's original 1946 non-military Canadian Chevrolet 2 ton was still produced with a wrinkle brown interior.

@lou-macmillan @ole-olson @doug-krassow Lou, Ole, and Doug, Jim Carter has wrinkle powder coat powder in the correct color for 1936-1938 Chevy truck interior. I had it matched from the back side of an original interior trim strip from My Son's 1938 one ton truck. It is an excellent match. Jim might be wholesaling this powder to other vendors such as The Filling Station or Classy Chev USA.

Hi Mike,   I called Carter's last week and was told that sales staff wasn't available.  I called today and wrinkle paint is only available in black.
