Finished the carb rebuild, made new oil pan gaskets, scraped and wire brushed the oil pan mounting on the bottom of the block, cleaned up the original oil pan bolts and nuts, polished up a few more nickel pieces and tried to figure out the original horn mechanism on the steering column. Nuff for today.
I have a1918 FA5 Baby Grand that has a nickel plated horn assembly. It has a spring loaded thumb toggle button that has contacts similar to distributor points. I haven't hooked it up yet as I just bought a torsion spring to use with it. I am excited to get it going. I would welcome Anyone with experience with this to comment.
@donald-nevins I will move this to a technical forum for you Donald.
