OEM fuel tank sending unit for 1948 Chevy 1/2 ton truck

I would like to confirm the stock OEM AC fuel tank sending unit that was used with the 1948 Chevy 1/2 ton trucks. This fuel tank was under the bed in 1947 and 1948. Locating a NOS one in working condition could prove to be an interesting challenge.

If you do not find a nos one they measure 30 ohms   ( 6 volt battery in car)
