Does anyone have paint codes for the interior colors used on 1956 Chevy trucks? The vehicle info packet shows Charcoal and Marble Grey which both match my truck, I just haven't been able to find a paint code for these specific colors.

Paint formulations are so different from the paints of that era that if you had the codes it likely wouldn't do you any good. You would need vintage tints that, at 70 years old, wouldn't be serviceable anyway. You'll probably have to have your current paint color matched.

Paint codes or a sample would be helpful even, not looking for exact formulation or from the factory supplier. I can find paint samples at hdpaintcode dot com but again theres no Marble Grey or Charcoal listed in any of the 1950's GM colors. I have the exterior colors and their codes but finding these interior colors has been difficult.

@eric-nohr Have you checked with Jim Carter Truck parts to see if he has paint available? The other truck vendors and The Filling Station would be possible sources, as well. Good Luck.

I see Jim Carter has Light Gray and a semi flat black listed as interior colors and available. I'll have to reach out to them- just want to make sure its not just a generic 'light gray'. Colors get reused over the years and given new names but just figured I'd see if there was a definitive match to the Marble Grey and Charcoal GM called out.

@eric-nohr I think that if Jim is offering colors as being correct for your application, he will have researched them enough to be pretty certain of their accuracy.
