Motor mounts

  1. Looks like I can get front motor mounts but can’t find and rear or even photos. I’m not spending the high dollars for redoing mine. If I can see a photo and get measurements thinking of just making it a solid mounter motor.
  2. . any suggestions. Thanks

I suggest you post the year and model of the vehicle you are working on.  If it's a 32 I have some that I repaired locally- not vulcanized but work fine on my 32.

I just rerubbered the same mounts in the past couple weeks.  I used an oxyacetylene torch to heat one side so I could roll back the tab that captures the center piece. I wrapped 3/16” rubber around the wings of the center piece and then rolled the tab back into place cold, using my vice. The engine is not back in the truck yet so I can’t tell you how they’ll perform.  I was unsure of the density of the rubber in the original mounts.
