1929 Landau Factory Interior?

I just inherited a 29 Chevy Landau and the interior has a number of rips and exposed springs.  I'm not really sure what the original color was as its obviously discolored from 100 years of age and barn dirt.

Would anyone know what fabric was used and was there just one color or options?

While the engine runs, the fluids dont leak, and the brakes work; I dont want to drive too far being jabbed by 100 year old springs.

Thanks.

Hello Slw2206,

From what little I've read, it appears that tan mohair was/is it. You may be interested in reading and viewing a video online: 'Harwood Motors 1929 Chevrolet Imperial Landau - Sold'

Also, 'GM Heritage Archive' type in '1929 - Chevrolet - pdf', ( slow to load/refresh but it does come up) scroll to page 68/90 to read about the Landau. See if any of this helps.

@tiny Yup the interior in that video looks like what I've got... except mine has 50 years of barn dust accumulated on it and a few mice who may or may not still be living amongst the springs.

Bookmarking that page, thats a gorgeous restoration which I probably wont afford for a few years.
