Hope everyone is well, I’m working on a chassis swap project and would really appreciate advice from anyone who’s done this before. I have a 1941 Chevy Master Deluxe Sedan body and I’m planning to use a 1994 Chevy Caprice (G-body era) donor chassis. If you or someone you know has put a ‘40s Chevy body on a Caprice/Roadmaster/Impala chassis (or used a 1977–1996 Caprice frame) please let me know — I’d love to see photos, wheelbase numbers, mock-up pics, and hear lessons learned (body mounts, firewall fitment, driveline length, steering/column, brake master, exhaust routing, legal/inspection issues).

Thank you Tiny, your message is greatly appreciated! What would be the best & most inexpensive way to post for sale the original engine with rolling chassis of the 41 Chevy Sedan once the chassis swap is done?

You can put an ad in the Classifieds at the top of the page. Keep in mind scammers monitor on-line swap meet/for sale listings so do your due diligence if someone offers to buy. Use a protected method of payment or cash on pick up.

@tiny Good morning Tiny, no one has replied on this post. What advice or suggestion would you recommend me doing?

@danny-abadia It's likely no one has done that exact swap and they don't feel they can contribute useful information. While many VCCA members have modernized their cars, most of us are preservationists and don't do chassis swaps. While I'm not a member of that forum, I've read in past posts that the Chevy Talk forum has a lot of folks who customize their cars. You might try registering there. https://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/index.php

How did you decide on the chassis to use? A google search I did had some hits with most using smaller chassis such as S-10 . I have no experience with this type of conversion but I think using a chassis that has a  similar wheelbase would be much easier. A 94 Caprice I believe is wider and longer and while not impossible probably not ideal for an amateur or beginner project.
