Still working on the 28 roadster, full frame off restoration. My question is from the factory were, the spindles, tie rods, drag link, and pitman arm painted black or just the natural metal. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

I would guess painted but suggest you contact the  28 Tech advisor for confirmation. Participation on Chat by the older more knowledgeable members is sparse at best.
