My 1929 International has some great history. I have a title from when the car was last on the road in the 90’s. But probably the best artifact are these 2 inspection stickers on the windshield. Before I start to rebuild the windshield and the regulator I want to document these in case I damage them any further. One is a Massachusetts inspection sticker from 1966. The other is from 1946. I really hope I can preserve these. I think they are a pretty cool history for this old girl.
How cool is that. Love it.

@tiny thanks Tiny. I love these bits of history. I know its off the car topic but, had an old Victorian house once that I found newspapers in the walls, like a time capsule. They were from the 30s and told of the new chancellor in Germany, Adolf Hitler. There were ads in there for a woman’s cashmere sweater to $2.95.
When we closed up the wall I put those back and also left some from our time in there. I also found a letter under the floor boards that was over 100 years old. The envelope was dirty but the letter inside was beautifully preserved. I am not really a history buff but to touch a personal note someone wrote 100 years ago was awesome!
If that is the original windshield you might think about having a new one made from safety glass. Plate glass is very dangerous. Then you could find a way to save the glass/stickers. Cut and frame maybe?
Good luck
Dave
