Painted cab interior

Tuesday I painted the interior of my 38 1/2 ton truck. Some time ago I had found what I thought was the original color and had it "scanned" and 2 litres mixed, when I stirred the paint it came out more like kahki than the tan I thought it should be. Considering I have found half the colors of the rainbow on the truck anything is possible. I put the paint on as I couldnt be bothered changing it at that stage and with my painting skills (or lack of) it all came out nicely, another small step towards driving it.

Tony I went thru a similar situation. My first attempt at painting my firewall was not satisfactory. The second (latest) is the color that was computer matched but it still does not look exactly like what I had in mind. However at the cost of todays paint it will stay. A quart with additives was $260.00 .

I dont dislike the color, very similar to army green but apart from cost the finish off the gun came up quite reasonable so I will polish the dash and header. When I get the tan roof liner, door liners and kick panels in place it wont look out of place.
