Need some advice....putting a new light in my 38 Master but ran into a roadblock at the reflector.   Yes...I know I don't need to remove the reflector to put a new light in but I would like to do some work on the bucket and the reflector.   I don't understand how those spring clips work.   I have been searching through past posts and see that at one time  BigBTth???? posted a video on bucket removal.   It is no longer available....so anyone have some advice?

@jeffery-pettis  Are you referring to the W shaped clips that push out against the back of the reflector lip? Or are you referring to the small hourglass shaped clips that hold the reflector to the stanchions? If you're referring to the W shaped clips, they slide over the stanchions shown in the pics below that the hourglass retainer clip goes through. There's a shoulder on the base of the stanchions that the narrow part of the W clip rests on. The wide part of the clip then pushes against the lip of the reflector to hold the reflector in place against the hourglass clip. I don't have pictures showing the mounting of the W clips. Once you see it, it's pretty self explanatory. There are three clips per headlight, one per stanchion.

Tiny....thanks for the information.    I did talk with Dean Echols today and he pointed me in the right direction for separating the reflector and stanchion and then I figured out on my own how to remove the little clips you show and separate the reflector.   Boy I wish I had seen your post earlier but all it good.   Thanks for the help.   They really cleaned up.

@jeffery-pettis You'll have much brighter headlights if you use 2530 bulbs rather than the stock 2320. The 2320 has 32cp/20cp while the 2530 is 50/32. Of course your charging system will need to be working well to support the extra current draw. The extra current draw isn't huge but if a charging system is marginal it can make a difference. The 2530s are available NOS on ebay or new repops on Amazon and other places, google them.
