From a dead stop, I’m getting a strange sound coming from my clutch when starting on an incline, is there anything I should be lubeing other than the clutch and brake pedal bushing ? Is there a grease fitting on the throw out bearing ?  I’m a new owner of my 28’ I’ve looked at my owners manual and the Shop manual and I couldn’t find anything. The transmission works great and shifts just fine, except for the sound I get when I let out the clutch on a incline
thanks Gene

Hi Gene

You say this only occurs when starting on an incline.

I assume you mean on an uphill incline.

Try letting the clutch out a little faster, or rev the engine a little higher while letting out the clutch on level ground and see if the noise occurs then.

If that is the case, you probably don't need to worry.

Clutch plates with a little old dried oil on them will often squeal or chatter a bit, especially under the above conditions.

Hope that helps.  🙂
