My 53 210 4 door has J on the cowl tag indicatingthat it was built in Janesville WI. THe VIN tag also has a J in it. I am assuming this is proper on these cars. My 53 Bel Air however has an S on the cowl tag and a T in the VIN, is this legitimate? It doesn't look like the cowl tag or VIN tag has ever been removed, but I am just not sure, any thoughts? Why would a car built in St Louis have a Tarrytown VIN, unless it was stolen some time during its' life...
Cheers,
Dave
