Having a hard time With the hood prop. Do you use the outer holes or the inter holes that mount on the hood rods? Short or long holders ? Does the hood prop bracket mount top or below the hood brace rods ?

I could show you photos of my 38 but I don't know how that would transfer to a 33. Do you have photos?

Were the hood prop/brace rods a factory OEM item or is it an add-on? There are no prop rods/braces on the 32.

Was looking for a solution to lift both hood sides at the same time  to work in the engine bay since now only one side can be lifted

Mounting instructions for aftermarket parts would be application/part specific. Photos of what you have and what you're wanting to do would be helpful.

United Pacific has no instruction Part # A6248. These were made for model A fords. I've looked every where for a Chevy one no luck 1933. 3 inchs at the radiator the Vs out to 34 at firewall. Rough drawing subject to changed

I don't know what I'm looking at. Have you tried having a friend help hold one side and tying the two sides together in the open position with a length of cord?

Peter, I see you mounted the bracket be low the rod. I was trying to mount on top of the rod. I will try your way. Thank you for the reply.

Finally Got it done, Had to tweak the u bolts to make the holes line up. There was a very small picture at the end of the bow showing the bracket mounted under the rods. Two person job.

I have these on all my Coupes. Great way to have both sides open at the same time without fear of them falling.
