1941 Master Deluxe. We just installed the original seats in the car. One thing that I noticed is that I sit lower than I expected in the car using these seats. I am 5'11'' and look out the middle of the windshield. Were there supposed to be any spaces between the seat and the legs holding it to the floor or should there be any spacer where the bottom cushion sits in the frame? I have no issue with it. My wife is 4'11'' and can barely see out the front.
I do not remember how these where when we removed them years back. Temporarily we had bench seats from a van mounted in there and just guessed at the height for those when we made the brackets.

I’m not aware of any factory spacers between the floor pan and the legs on the lower seat frame. The bottom seat cushion sits directly on the frame. Over time however, the cushion springs and the padding any have lost some of their original height.
I guess that explains the lower seat position. The rear cushion does not sink down as much but it was likely used far less. I have to say it is nice to have the right seats back in the car.

The seats in both my 37 and my 48 seemed too low for me so I raised them both up about 1 1/2 inches. That made them much more comfortable to me and easier to see out of.
Took a drive with the seats where they where. Found them to be comfortable. Surprisingly the driver side mirror became far more useful than it was before. I could see behind me better in it than before. The passenger side mirror is still just aimed at the rear corner of the car to help back into and out of the garage, not useful for anything else. Glad the original seats are back in. Looks better and for the one trip I took with them they were more comfortable.
