When my starting battery died on my 2018 Silverado I was disappointed in the short life-5 years. Two weeks later the starter died-can't remember the mileage but still only has 38000. Now I am replacing the second TPMS sensor ( which the dealer says is "normal" service life) @ $60.00 a pop. Only two to go. Also had to replace an exhaust sensor at two years and 7000 miles which they claimed was caused from undercoating but at least they covered that under warranty. Just curious if others are having similar issues .

I’ve had the factory battery in my 03 Corvette last about 3 and a half years but the one in the 90 pickup lasted 10 years.
The TPM sensors in the Corvette all went over 210000 miles and 22 years. Last week I replaced 1 of the o2 sensor in the Corvette . Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t.
A month ago I had all kinds of warning lights come on including 'Brake System Failure, do not drive over 43 MPH' on my 21 Silverado. Had to have it towed to my Chevy dealership. Turns out it was a bad master brake cylinder that was covered under warranty. (75K miles) Good thing, the bill would have been $3400 and I had to wait a week for parts. Couple weeks later the check engine light came on. They said this was a bad hood latch! Covered again. Never had these problems on my 3 other Silverados that I also bought new.
