I have a 1965 Chevelle 194 cu inch six-cylinder still in car. Rear main seal leaks. I would like to change the rear main seal while the Engine is still in the car. Can this be done?

It may be possible to do that trick but I would it it would be easier to lift the engine out and turn it upside down.
