1963 corvette turn signal flasher

I’m confused about the correct factory original turn signal flasher. The assembly instruction manual part number is 3758682. An eBay search shows this is a rectangular part but the assembly manual shows a round part! Which is it???

go to the 1963-4 NCRS judging manual, page 56 for swetailewd description of the various turn signal flashers that were used on 63 corvettes. too many variations to print here but basically there were two styles used, round aluminum tung-sol flashers and rectangular signal stats of various colors.mike mccagh
