Hello All,

Where to buy 1948 Chevy Coupe car 216cu in rear engine motor mount brackets? These are the brackets that bolt on the bell housing.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you. Yes, I have these M motor mounts. I need the brackets that they connect to.

Aah...

So you need part numbers 594911 (left) and 594912 (right).

I'm not seeing a source for those listed anywhere on the internet, so you will likely have to find a wrecker or some similar parts source.

The good news is that those brackets were used on all passenger vehicles from 1937 up to and including 1948, so they hopefully shouldn't be that hard to find.

The illustration below would suggest that if nothing else, they shouldn't be overly hard to fabricate if you could find one to measure (even if it's still in a car).

@ole-olson Thanks for the info. I was thinking the same thing, these shouldn't be too hard to find. They were used in a lot of vehicles and I  think most folks are not installing the 216's back in when restoring, unless they're going all original.
