After researching and learning of the devastating loss of Hampton Coach (and all of Lebonney Baron for that matter), I started asking around and SMS says they are interested in making upholstery kits, but they need patterns.  My project car has little more than tatters, is anyone else restoring a 1930 with enough existing cloth to be used as a pattern?  I would be happy to take the lead on effort and cost, any and all leads or thoughts are welcome.

I think it would be a boon for a lot of people if we could get someone back into production.

I thought SMS bought the LaBaron-Bonney assets. I also heard Ecklers was trying to buy it. The was lots of talk about it on the old site which is searchable. You might do a search there. Here's one of many threads: https://vccachat.org/ubbthreads.php/topics/435272/lebaron-bonney-news.html#Post435272

Thanks, I saw that and several other threads, the more recent of which indicate that no one picked up the business out of bankruptcy and that no one is currently making interior parts for vintage Chevys.  I can find nothing in any of the usual suppliers' catalogues that would contradict the conclusion and so far SMS is the only one responding positively to getting into the business.

They can't build an inventory on their own and I suspect that that the first couple of kits that they produce (if they can get patterns) will be pricey because of the cost of gearing up.  I'm looking for someone in the middle of a 1930 restoration who can supply patterns for a 4-door enclosed, I'll pay the shipping and make the arrangements and pay for the first kit; the donor can leverage off of my investment and get their own kit after the investment is made.

I hope there are like-minded projects in process for other years and models, getting a supplier interested in the business might not happen again for some time. Please consider contributing to kick-starting this effort.

Mike, you might do a vehicle search using the Rosters link at the top of the page. You'll get a list of current members with a 1930 and their contact info. I few emails might find what you need. For example, while I don't have upholstery patterns for my 38 I do have the trunk liners that I can make patterns out of if anyone needed them. You might find a member with just what you need.
