1929 Chev Truck Windshield Closing Bracket Ass'y and Weatherstrip Question

Two Questions:  1) My windshield is just floating, due to "no" closing brackets/assembly to which I do see the body windshield pillars, left and right side, each have the single, say 1/4 inch female thread attachment for some kind of assembly which would help close and lock the windshield into position?? I cannot find any info or pictures of what was utilized at each of these two locations to perform the job.  Any help on this issue, description or pics, would be helpful.

2)  Also, I must assume I am missing a lower windshield weatherstrip of some sort, due to the open, say 1- 1/4 inch clearance, from the bottom edge of the windshield frame edge to the body surface.  Any help, description or pics, on what filling assembly goes here too, would be appreciated.

Yeah, the purple wasn't my doing.  I bought the truck, unseen, from an estate sale which referenced it was fully restored.  I'd say probably 70 percent and not what I would say professional.

You're not in to hot pink?? 😉 At least you have a good starting point for your project. 👍 I don't have your information but someone will be along shortly who can help.

In case someone stops in to review my two questions above, on my 29 windshield issues, even if you could post a picture of the closing assembly and the bottom windshield weather strip, that would be helpful.  I cannot find any info on these two issues which explains why my windshield was never completed.  Thanks!

I found a picture on the web and upon my closeup I could imagine the windshield closing assembly would look like my hand sketch below.  Easy fab for me since I could not find anything on the web of the similar design below.  Heck, I could also convert that ass'y to copper or brass rod/parts.

Now what I still cannot figure out is the actual weatherstrip assembly for sealing the cowl to the bottom of the windshield.  Yeah, I could come up with something that would do the trick, but I would prefer to find or duplicate the actual design.

What's amazing to me is that I could not find any publication of sort for the resurrection of the Chevy 20's thru 30's series.  It's mostly venturing through the sale adds currently on the web.

Here's my finding and thought of what I saw on an angle thru a windshield.

Check Steele Rubber for the weather strip. Most slide into a channel at the bottom of the windshield.

A swing arm similar to the drawing is what is needed. Ford part suppliers have similar items. Those in the Snyder's catalog link https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/searchm.htm?type=merged&sterm=&searcht=swing+arm   might be of help or could be modified? There are also nuts or threaded studs needed to hold the arm in position.

Thanks Dave, Chip and Tiny, fantastic help.  Yeah Tiny, that picture assured me as to what I seen on another picture I found on the web.  Then I checked Chips' link response and low and behold, there's all the parts I need to fix that problem I encountered.

Then I checked Dave's response to Steele Rubber and the lower windshield weather strip/gasket, as Dave states, would fit into a channel at the bottom of the windshield.  That "channel" I do not have present.

So, I found a company that would make a custom "H" weather strip, I can imagine the minimum run length required for their run, and came up with my custom bottom windshield weather strip/gasket.  Chip, I did send a text requesting dimensional info on their windshield strips which I would entertain before making a custom strip.

here's my custom thought;  Once the strip was received, I would trim off the two legs of the H unit.
