Cheers! After receiving my order for a front and rear shock absorber update kit that was ordered from J Carter, I was a little overwhelmed by the fact that there were no illustrations or instructions. after scouring the internet the best I could come up with was some pictures on Stovebolt Forum and some diagrams from Chevs of the 40's. If anyone has any illustrations, photos or instructions they would like to share it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I think a phone call to Jim Carter for assistance would be in order.

@tiny I sent Jim a message, asking about this. The kit was developed for AD trucks and that is mentioned in the catalog. It also states that he has no templates for the earlier trucks.

I think he would love for someone who has figured it out, to document the process and send it to him.

Thanks Mike! Excuse my ignorance Mike, but what does AD stand for?

Advance Design. That was the label given to Chevy's post war design 47-early 55.
