Does anyone have a picture of a valve stem caps for a 38 Chevy?   I was deducted a point for having the wrong ones.

I believe they were metal caps John. I found some on ebay. Search for item number. 257362347893. Chevs of the 40s sells repops as does The Filling Station.

@john-schildberg John, I might have some. I will gladly send you set, if we can determine that they are the correct ones.

Thanks Mike, as Tiny said they might be metal.   I would need 5 of them if you have them.

@john-schildberg  John, These are the ones I have. I was able to find the original stamping dies that Chevrolet used to produce these in the 1930s. I found a German company that does subcontract work for Mercedes Benz and made a deal with them to stamp the caps. The plating is done in Switzerland by a firm that mostly does work for watchmakers. The final product speaks for itself. No wait, I remember now, I bought a bag of them on eBay. Send me your address.

@john-schildberg John, No charge. I think I have a padded envelope that I can recycle. I will be headed to the Post Office sometime this week.
