Hi everyone! Just found this forum and looking for some help. My dad has had this 1925 Chevy Superior K sedan since the 1985. During a construction project, he found this car in the basement garage of an old Chevrolet dealership. At the time he was told it had been there in the temperature controlled garage since 1946, but could be longer. So he bought it from the owner of the building as a restoration project and never got around to fully restoring it. He did get the engine running soon after he bought it, but never ended up driving it. The car sat in that same garage, enclosed in a wood frame enclosure from 85-2022. From 2022 until today it is in a private garage, temperature controlled as well, on jack stands, doors open for ventilation and is frequently checked on.
It's a 1925 Superior K, Sedan, in blue/black top, green valour interior. Everything on it is original, even down to the seats in the interior which are in terrific shape for their age minus a small tear. Headliner is in great shape for its age, still has the blinds in the windows, etc. Some surface rust on the fenders, hood, roof line, but the chassis and body itself are essentially rust free. We’re not sure of the mileage but the odometer currently sits at 0 miles, and has been that way since he bought it. So highly original, and ready for restoration.
With that said, I wanted to ask you all if you have any idea what it might be worth? He’s now ready to move on from the project and I’m trying to research how much to list it for.
I tried to post photos + link to an album but I guess I'm too new to do that yet.
Thank you.
