Does anyone out there have a catalog (1938-1965) that goes to 16.068?  Mine only go's to9.999.   I am looking for a rear-view mirror for my 38.   The index says they are on pages 10.185. 16.068.

Thank you for the information, Steve.  I was hoping for a picture of the right mirror.

Is that "right"as in correct or right hand? i did see a couple listed on Ebay as original GM mirrors . Both looked the same and I am guessing the R.H exterior mirror was an accessory. I will try to post a link. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185621219807?

The mirrors in the 1939 accessories brochure are online here:

It's very likely that the accessories didn't change between 1938 and 1939, but a 1938 brochure would verify that if you can find one.

The mirror Steve links to was a "peep mirror" that was only supplied for the left side of the car.

You are probably looking for the other mirror listed in the brochure which was just called a 4-1/2 inch "outside rear view mirror" which was available for the left and right sides (the two of them being "mirror images" of each other 🙂).

If memory serves me correctly, Gene said the King Bee mirrors sold by The Filling Station are accurate for the OE outside mirrors. They look similar to the mirror in your picture Ole. They are pretty pricey. Copies of the 38 accessory catalogue are available. I used to have one but don't remember if I let it go with the car. I'll have to go brave the heat in the garage and take a look.

I meant the left side of the car.  I didn't know if the King Bee mirrors would be okay for judging.  I forgot to look in the Accessories catalog that I have.  Thank you, guys, for the information!
