I have the original seats and all of their hardware. I have been using a different set of van seats since the upholstery was well eaten by mice and redoing the upholstery in a non-visually challenging way is not in my skill set. I saw these covers on eBay and was wondering if anyone has used any of the products from this seller. My thought is that If I redo the seats and use the covers to make them look nice it would be better than the van seats we adapted to fit.

I've not used those but the price isn't bad at all. If you like the look go for it.

The teal and white are really nice looking.
Please keep us informed regarding fit, ease of installation, etc. I may order set for my 47 (which most likely would be the same as your 41)

I placed the order. Getting the tan and brown like what is in the picture. Let my son's make the final choice. Plan is to clean the old seats with a pressure washer the best we can, we cleaned them when we took them out of the car and then stored them out of the way in our shed. There are areas where the foam is damaged on the back rest to the rear seat so we are going to fill it with a piece of high density foam. Once that is all done the seat covers should hide the unsightliness of our repairs.
It will be a few weeks before they arrive since they are made after they are ordered.

I saw his complete series on the 48 Chevy. My sons and I re-watched many parts of it while working on our 41. Wish there was a sticky where it could be linked. Vary good set of YouTube videos.
We watched that one and it used it first to make our carpet. We bought a carpet remnant from a local store and cut it to the shape he made in the video. We co not have a heel pad but we have floor mats.
When we took the originals out we bagged and tagged everything. Saved all of the hardware but will use all new when it is reassembled. The fabric on the seat frames are shot and or missing. Oldest wants to strip it and paint it to match the rest of the interior.
We do not have sewing skills that would end up being presentable if we were to reupholster it properly. What fabric is on the cushions is not pretty but there on three out of four cushions. Mice made a mess of the top of the rear back cushion. The seats are now clean except for dust from storage. Plan is to use hi density foam to fill the area in the rear seat back that is damaged. The kids suggested finding an old chair or couch cushion to cut it out of. Then to sew patches to the seat to cover the repaired areas. The seat covers will then cover this and make it presentable. .
Youngest has checked that the seatbelts we installed for the rear will still work without issue. Should just need to slip them between the cushions. For the belts in the front there will need to be a complete re-design. We used the seat brackets as the mounts. We adapted bench set brackets that had the side belts mounted to them.
My kids came up with the plans once I found the seat cover. We know it is not the proper way to do this if we were restoring it to show. We do believe it is the way to do it as a father son project. Everything we have done can be undone if down the road a true restoration is ever attempted.
I have a few days in July off when we will do the install of the seat. Till then we are going to prep the parts we have without taking out the current seat, currently it is drivable and we want to be on the road as much as possible during the season.

I have not received the covers yet but to date the company has been vary good with communication. Told me they would ship most likely next week since the fabric was in stock for the colors I wanted. If everything works out I may get some for my 87 Monte Carlo.

The seat covers arrive a few days earlier than expected and were well packed. The seller communicated well as to when they would arrive. Sorry for the delay to getting back to this as we were out of state for a week.
I paid about $160 dollars with shipping for the seat covers. These are for a 1941 Chevy Master Deluxe 4 door that is not a show car. We had been using modified bench seats out of a Ford Windstar minivan. These covers allowed us to use the original seats. For the price I think these were a good buy for what we were looking for. Time will tell how they will hold up.
Material: The back of the seats is a stretch material. Nothing fancy. The main part of the cover is a a cotton blend. There is a layer of padding under the fabric. The stitching looks nice. It is held on with elastic straps. The colors were exactly what we hopped for. They will send out samples but we went with the online photos knowing that if they were close we would be happy.
The fit is much better than generic covers. They are not as good as high end ones that cost far more. The top corners of the front seat have some slack.
If these hold up then I would buy them again for the budget fun car. For a show car I would get a higher end cover or re-upholster the originals. The hid allot of damage on our original seat that otherwise would have been unusable.
Below are some pictures of ours. Note that the top of the rear seat is shaped oddly because to fill a space damaged by mice my sons cut a piece of foam to repair it. This will be improved in the future.
Material:
On the car:
Color match to the panels we made and the carpet.

Interesting. So they're not installed using hog rings but with elastic strapping? Could you post a photo of how they're attached?

Unfortunately I cannot see the straps now that they are on the car. They came with hooks that the straps tie onto. I just clipped them to the nearest metal spring, bar etc. Attached is a picture of the supplied items to use to attach the covers to the seats. These do not replace the origional upholstry, they just go over what is there.
Last night we found they are not stain resistant. A little grease got on the front one and stained it slightly. This said the grease would have stained most cotton fabrics.

My 41 has covers that have been on it for a long, long time and they fit very well. Only problem is they're dirty and need cleaning or replacement. I keep wondering what's under them??? I dream that the covers were installed early in the car's life and the original material is like new...fat chance. If I remove the covers I might ruin the fit. If I clean them with upholstery cleaner, I could ruin whatever's underneath. What do you think? These covers would look great, but I wouldn't like the loose fit I see in your photos.

Take it to a car detailer. Find one that's been in business for a while rather than someone who's watched a few youtube videos and bought some chemicals.

Yours are better fitting from the photos. What I am looking at is that I paid under $150 shipped. Everything I found that was better cost allot more. The origional seats are more comfortable t ride it. Unfortunatly we only had one ride before loosing the throw out bearing. Now we are back taking it apart.
