Hi,Charles,

Chevrolet did not make a roadster in 1936.  I was a proper Cabriolet with roll-up windows.  There were a little over 3000 produced and they are pretty rare today.  I bought mine in 1963 when I was a college student,  I restored it on a college students budget in my parent's garage.  My wife and I drove it to Yosemite in 1967 for our honeymoon.  When I retired, I decided to restore it again with my social security money.  It has been a long ordeal, and I am almost finished.  It seems like every time I make progress, something happens and I have to fix something, but I am encouraged.  Send me a photo of  your car.

You  can find my telephone number in my profile  Feel free  to call me

Steve is correct that Fisher did not offer a roadster body for Chevrolet in 1936 but Holden offered a business roadster and a sport roadster with a dickie seat. In 1937, Holden made 459 Roadsters on Chevy Chassis. Fisher made 1724 Cabriolets on Chevy chassis. It was a master deluxe body on a Standard chassis. Unknown roadsters may have been made for half ton chassis. See web page . home.znet.com/x1937/Tour.htm . for photos of 1937 open Chevys.

PS: In 1937, Holden also made 51 Master deluxe Roadster utes and 593 standard roadster utes. More popular than Fisher's coupe pickups. See photos on web page . home.znet.com/p1937/Ute.htm .
