JYD had hardly been seen for some time before the change though he often looked in but not posted, Gene posted on the old forum up until the change but I haevnt seen him here.

I asked Gene a few weeks ago if he needed help making the transition. He asked me for step by step instructions which I provided. I've not heard from him since. I've PMd and emailed him several time with no reply. I hope he's well. If someone living in his area sees this thread it would be nice if they could pay Gene a visit to make sure he's OK.

To start a new topic, click on the thread you want to post in. Forum and Website Usage Questions, is this one. Then look to the far right you should see "Add Topic" blue button, click it.

This new site is NOT very user friendly in my opinion. I check here once or twice daily and many times I am the only one on the site.  

@ruscar I agree, there is not much going on and a lot of major posters are missing. This site is not as user friendly as the old one! Sad!

I agree.  I enjoyed reading the new posts.  Now they are raising the dues for a site that is not as user friendly, go figure !!!

Dues are going up thanks to inflation but the new site has little to do with that cost. Thanks for the reminder. I need to do a three year renewal and can lock in the current price if I do it before the August deadline.

I was on the old site several years ago and you could ask a question, go get a drink?, and by the time you got back, you had a consensus as to the answer. Now, days go by and sometimes no answer at all.

I don't disagree. It's up to the members whether they want to participate. I would very much like to see them share their knowledge here.

Tiny.... I was on a Desoto site of the National Desoto Association, and joined hoping to tap into their knowledge, that boasted 1,000's of members and a convention in Florida every year and a nice magazine. Participation on the forum was 1 guy.

Switch back to the old software and everyone will be back. This new software is going to be the ruin of us.
