Today I drove my 1936 1-1/2 ton truck on a 60(ish) mile round trip to a car show. I went with a couple of friends (1959 3/4 ton NAPCO and 1973 K20) It was typically disorganized when we got there but no charge if you did not want your vehicle to be judged. There were about 200 cars there and after I had looked at the 4, or so, that I was interested in, I was ready to come home. Stuck it out for another 3 hours and had several folks who liked my truck and my friend's trucks too. I always let people open the doors and allow their kids to sit in my vehicles when I take them out.
I stopped at a High School friend's place on the way home and got my first look at his unrestored 1950 Ford F-4 farm truck with hydraulic hoist. It was cool. I hooked him up with Bob Marx, a few years back, for some valve train parts to get the Flathead V8 back in operation.
Made it home without incident. All in all, a good day out.

Sounds like a good day. I also encourage kids to sit in my 38 & touch things like honk the horn. All I ask them to do is check their feet so they don't track in mud.
