I started the rust repair on the cab of my 1978 k10 it was my uncles farm truck and I’m doing a frame off restoration my goal is to have it finished by my 21st birthday so I have i have 10 months to get it done. I cut some rust off my firewall and welded a patch panel in. this weekend I’m going to start working on the floor pans. I also tore the bed apart so I can fix both the box sides
Welcome to the forum! That looks like a fun project. I need to do that on my 77 K 10. Please keep showing us your progress.

@caden-butler Welcome to VCCA Chat Caden! Great project! 10 months is a pretty aggressive timeline but it can be done. And when it's done you can take pride in the fact that YOU did it.

thanks for the reply’s I started this project back in February I have completely stripped the frame so far and it’s at the powder coater right now. This is the biggest project I’ve ever started
I’ve also built my 1985 impala I bought it when I was 17 with a blown transmission I got it going for my senior prom and drove through the beginning of college until I blew the engine and transmission at the same time and built a 350 and 700r4 and deleted the computer now I’m redoing the interior and getting it ready for paint
