Yesterday, I drove Justin (1928 Canopy Express) to a local charter school's Cars and Coffee event. It was a small gathering, but there were kid's soccer games going in the fields next to the parking lot. 😉 A good time was had by all.

I changed Justin's 'look' a little. I took out the tools and chests from the bed and put one of my motor bikes on display in the truck's bed. We drew a lot of attention! 😉  I call the bike the BS Flyer (for Briggs and Stratton, of course). I built it in 2019 with parts that I accumulated over 10 years:

  • 1947 Simplex frame and wheels (made in New Orleans)
  • 1960's NOS Simplex tires
  • 1953 Simplex gas tank
  • 1950's Schwinn bike parts on the front forks
  • Old Briggs and Stratton engine
  • 1960 Honda 50 carburetor
  • 1946 Vickers choke lever (used for throttle)
  • 1923 Torrington bicycle handle bars
  • 1920's bicycle Klaxon horn
  • Brake rod from 1928 Chevrolet
  • Telephone pole porcelain sign for license plate

Cheers, Dean
