Finally decided it was time to reinstall the repaired radios back in the 53 210 and the 53 Bel Air. Had to fiddle around with the speakers as the connections were bad on both cars. The Bel air will need a replacement antenna as it is shorted. I really enjoy listening to these when I drive as there is nothing like the sound coming out of a tube radio. The 210 got the manual tune radio and the Bel Air got the push button model. Kinda sore from the work, but I am glad it is done. The photo below I took while I was working on them, they are not normally stored together.

I have a 53 210 with the PG but it's not nearly as nice as yours. It's strictly a driver. I started out as a Texas car and ended up in Oklahoma before it came to live with us. Until we "adopted" it, it never saw the inside of a garage so the paint is horrible. The key is, it starts when I turn the key and stops when I hit the brake.

@tiny Thanks for the kind words regarding my 210, it is a driver just like yours, the restoration was done in 1986 long before I got it. Whoever did the restore did a pretty good job, although , by the time I bought it, the interior was ready for a redo. We have used it on tours with the VCCA, six cylinder tours and such. I do not own a vehicle to pull a trailer, so we have driven it out of state for those tours, It did get its' first Junior VCCA award years ago, but there are no meets close enough to attend any longer. New England does not have the regions available to pull off a meet, as membership is dropping off slowly. There are many car people around, but most are not interested in stock vehicles. When I take either of my 53s to a show or cruise, it's usually the only 53 there. Most folks around here are only interested in 60's and 70's muscle cars or hot rods and customs. Tri fives are still popular, but they mostly are resto mods with modern drive trains, such is the way the hobby is going.
