I am in need of a starter on my 1916 Chevy as the field coil is out. What years fit a 1916? 1916-1922???
The Filling Station used to offer a rebuild service, don't know if they still do. It might be worth a phone call.
Edit: I did a quick search and came across <THESE> folks. I have no personal dealings with them. There are also rebuilders that advertise in Hemmings Motor News.

@arthur-c-winters Arthur, I have a guy, here in Columbia, MO. who works on my automotive electrical stuff. He has some antique parts on hand. Call me in the evening, sometime and I will get you connected with him and perhaps we can figure out some part numbers for the things you will need.
