Hi All, The universal inline fuel filters (the zone, o`reily) don't work, don't filter small particles. Is there a reasonably priced filter around? Thanks

one such as pictured is what I am using . Sold by various auto parts stores it is clear so you can see sediment and it can be cleaned and re-used.

I have the one like above prior to the fuel pump.  I have a reproduction glass bowl one just prior to the carb.  The one before the carb does have a modern element in it.  I put in a new tank when I put the car on the road and have only had a little bit of contaminants in the first filter.

The glass bowl filter removes water and shows sediment in the bowl. It's part number FS 607 at the Filling station. Ceramic and paper filter seem equally as effective. Better than the inline pictured in first post.
