I have posted an ad for a 1508084 gauge in the parts wanted forum however did not fully fill out the contact info due to previous ad scam activity. I am hoping a VCCA member will reply and can contact me directly from my VCCA member info.

Steve,

What year car is it for, and what is the pressure range? I believe I have a 1508085 gauge from a 49-50 passenger car. It is a rare item GM dealers used when replacing a low pressure 216 with a later high pressure 235. Is that what youare looking for? I would have to dig into my storage trailer to see if it is still there. Here is a photo from when I bought it several years ago.

@bob-remm It is for a 1951 with a 1954 engine. Needs to be a 0-60 gauge. The original is a 0-30.The application is the same but I am guessing that the face plate is different. Maybe it could be used by changing the face plate and doubling the reading or re-numbering. I'll keep it in mind if I don't have any luck finding the correct gauge. My parts book shows the 1508083 number as shown in the photo posted for a 1950 when installing a later high pressure engine.

@steve-d Not for nothin but for the 49-50's I found a 60 psi oil pressure gauge from a chevy pick-up truck is the same gauge with a different faceplate and brown instead of red needle. Matby the same for your 51?

@bob-remm I will check that out as I did see some for sale on Ebay. Thanks for the info.  I see in my parts manual  1507401 for 49-53 but the calibration is not listed. Another listing for the same application is shown as 0-30 (1508206)  so I again am guessing that the 1507401 is 0-60 .
