54 235, I’m curious when the engine is running at idle I feel a slight vibration that will change to a slightly higher vibration like it’s missed a firing and is trying to catch up followed by the slight vibrations. Is this normal, am I being too fussy, or an indicator of something else? The car runs fine, I can’t feel a miss when driving.

Check your engine mount's our 54 they were bad enough that the oil pad was sitting on the idle arm.

@dennis-christianson engine mounts are fine. I think it was bad fuel from over the winter.?

just a thought, check your fan blade. If you lost a blade on the fan the engine will vibrate but run fine. Had a similar problem on a 46 and it was the fan. Just a thought.
