i am looking support regarding the throttle cable bracket, I don't know what it looks like and how it is mounted to the engine. I see where the cable wire is attached to the W-1 Cater carburetor
If the ton and a half is similar to a 34 Master, the throttle cable does not attach to the carburetor. There is a bracket that directs it behind the exhaust manifold allowing it to attach to the bell crank below.
You might message 35Mike if he doesn't see this and chime in on his own. I've not posted pictures of my 38 car because I don't know how that translates to the 34 truck. It also has a W1 and I suspect the linkage would be similar. Below are pics of the set-up on my 38 just in case.

I think Minetto has it right. If someone has shortened your throttle cable you might not be able to go back to the original setup. In that case you could get the later style bracket (Tiny's picture) and hook it up that way. Only you, Minetto, and I would know it was wrong and I promise not to tell anyone. I am not sure we can trust Minetto.
